Mike Snyder began his professional career with the New York Yankees.
- He then spent nine years as a scout for the Kansas City Royals, San Francisco Giants, Yankees and Texas Rangers from 1981 - 1989.
- Mike then switched gears in his career, returning to the field as a pitching coach with the University of Indianapolis from 1990 - 1992.
- From 1993 - 1996 he served in the same capacity with the University of Louisville before closing out the 1996 season in the same role with Richmond of the independent Frontier League.
- In 1997 - 1998, Mike served as pitching coach for the St. Louis Cardinals affiliate in Johnson City (Appalachian) and in 1999 with the Card's Midwest League Club in Peoria.
- He offers instruction in pitching and throwing with emphasis on the proper mechanics.
