The Trinity News
January 2010
Last November Trinity Ballpark added 2 new 12U baseball / softball size fields. In 2009 we experienced a large demand for our small fields in both baseball and softball. Trinity served the game, practice and tournament needs of several teams and organizations. The addition of the 2 new diamonds will allow us to better serve our returning and new customers. If you are the coach of an 8U - 12U baseball team or a coach of a softball team and need practice, game or tournament diamonds please do not hesitate to contact us.
Spring of 2010 will bring a new program to Trinity. Hoosier Diamond, a company owned and operated by Trinity Ballpark's General Manager Jeff Jellison, will conduct the Hoosier Diamond Spring Baseball League for 10U through 14U baseball teams and individuals. Hoosier Diamond is well known for conducting baseball leagues. Hoosier Diamond conducts the Midwest's largest most successful fall high school age baseball program, conducts a spring baseball league for players in grades 7 through 8, and this year will begin the 13th year conducting the Super 7 and Super 8 Summer Baseball League...a summer league for teams with players in grades 7 and 8.
In addition to conducting leagues, Hoosier Diamond sponsors the Indiana Mr. Baseball Award...the award presented to the state's top graduating senior baseball player. Hoosier Diamond was the first organization to conduct college and professional baseball showcases in Indiana. Hoosier Diamond is often referred to as the "voice of baseball" in Indiana due to their involvement in youth, high school, and college baseball.
